Meet the Steiners was originally started to keep family and friends updated on our family of four since Greg and I both have family out of state and a few friends out of the country.  I follow several blogs and thought, "Hey, I can do that.  Whether 3 people read it or 100 people read it, it will be fun to document our crazy life and share photos of our boys.  Surely I can write a post each day or at least a few each week."  Oh blogging world, go ahead, laugh it up.  What I failed to realize is that this blogging thing actually requires a decent amount of TIME.  Something that is few and far between for me.  I have a day job, school, the boys, and a husband who (I believe) enjoys spending time with me, so the blogging quickly took a backseat to the rest of my life.  I think I had 10 or 15 posts in the span of 2 1/2 years. Clearly, this was important to me.  Alas (do people still use that word?), I am not one to write something off just because it fails once.  Or twice even.

So, I will try again.  I will likely write mostly about the boys (because that's by far going to be the most entertaining), marriage, pop culture, and occasionally, the causes that are near and dear to my heart.  There are many and while I don't have the resources to contribute to them all, I believe that spreading the word can be just as powerful.  If I spread the word, and you spread the word, and we all keep going, imagine what can be done.  It's not just about monetary help, it's about being good people. Caring enough to lend a helping hand; interested enough to ask one more question, loving enough to be there when no one else will.  I believe that the number of good people in this world far outweighs the number of bad, and at some point in my (hopefully long) life, I plan to embark on an adventure to find them.

I hope you enjoy this blog.  Feel free to share it with your friends, especially if there's a post regarding someone or someplace in need.

Thanks for stopping by!
